My name is Tim P. and along with my wife Myra I operate a WSI office in Naarden, the Netherlands. As a WSI Internet Consultants we have built a successful business helping other firms profit from the Internet.

But, I was missing out on the growing years of my children. Moreover, my wife Myra, was ready to start something new but needed the freedom to spend time with the kids when necessary. This dilemma is not unusual for many of us working in the current economic landscape. We began to get excited about the idea of working for ourselves and started to investigate the option of becoming entrepreneurs.

Myra had experienced considerable success with a food franchise in the past, which she sold when our third daughter was on her way. So we were familiar with the franchise industry and were keen to identify one that would give us the opportunity to work together. My name is Karen Sullivan-Correa, and I am a WSI Internet Business Consultant operating in Colombia and the United States.

In the 90s I founded and directed a non-profit organization for underprivileged communities that helped families displaced by war, wounded military personnel and children living with life-threatening diseases. In an article entitled "Empowering the disabled with Web Accessibility" written by Mari-Len De Guzman of IT World Canada (19 Jul 2005), Valerie Brown, Vice President, Knowledge Management, WSI was extensively quoted on Web accessibility and what it means to business.
